Brief Biodata:
Following his Ph. D.. from IIT, Madras in 1980,
Prof. Umarji held post doctoral positions at IIT
Madras, Argonne National Laboratory, USA and at
TIFR in Mumbai. He has been a faculty member of
the Materials Research Centre since 1987. He was
a visiting faculty member (1997-98) at the Ceramics
and Materials Eng. Department,Rutgers University,
Piscataway, NJ- USA. |
